There is a ransomware attack every 11 seconds.
But it doesn’t have to cripple your business.
Automatic, Policy-driven backups
Parablu’s BluVault is designed to make automatic secondary copies of your important business data – that you can fall back on, should you get hit with ransomware. BluVault is designed to be touchless and built for a ‘set it and forget it’ operation. Once you’ve configured it via policies the way you want, you can rest assured that it is working for you every day.
Safe and immutable data copies
BluVault is designed to ensure that the data it maintains is encrypted and kept safe with appropriate barriers against alteration, deletion, or tampering of any kind. It is designed to create a Virtual Air Gap to ensure that your backups are available for recovery even after a ransomware attack.
Curated data recovery
BluVault offers the capability to identify which files were altered by ransomware during the period of time when the attack started and the current time. You can opt to surgically bring only that data back to ensure low impact to end-users and ensure business continuity.
Quarantine affected files and devices
BluVault can also help your IT team as they navigate their way out of a ransomware attack. It provides features for both device and file quarantining that are important when your security team is in the middle of an incident management exercise. This helps to isolate zero-day systems or the files that carried the original payload from reappearing as part of the restoration activity.
Unusual Activity Detection
BluVault offers comprehensive reports and event logs to provide IT admins with insights to identify unusual activity during backups that may point to a ransomware attack. For instance, a greater than average number of deleted files or encrypted files in the backup payload could signal a ransomware attack. BluVault also packages with it, a Machine Learning engine trained with thousands of ransomware samples, which helps it detect a corrupted file with a reasonably high degree of certainty.
Parablu’s BluVault enables safe and reliable endpoint backups while letting you use existing end-user storage allocations such as Microsoft OneDrive for Business or Google Drive as a backup vault. Unlike in the case of other backup solutions, you don’t have to spend anything additional for storage.
Other Parablu Advantages
BluVault’s integration with OneDrive and Google Drive is non-intrusive. The BluVault agent can co-exist with the OneDrive or Google Drive client, and users may still use these solutions normally.

when using BluVault as compared with any other backup solution.
Parablu’s BluVault imposes no limitations on types or sizes of files that can be backed up.
Parablu’s Secure Container technology uses a patent-protected approach to integrate with end-user storage allocations like OneDrive for Business. Bluvault leverages this to create immutable copies of backup data with a virtual air-gap to ensure that data is tamper-proof.
BluVault can be consumed as a BaaS (Backup as a Service) offering, can be deployed fully on-premises, or in a bespoke/hybrid fashion as your business requires.
Parablu integrates with Identity Management solutions like Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, or Okta for easy authentication, single sign-on and also as a way to provision, and de-provision user licenses.
Parablu’s licensing model keeps things simple with a user-based subscription – you pay per user, even if a user uses multiple devices.
BluVault uses Data Shredding, a measure to create a barrier designed to keep your data safe from attackers. Every file Parablu handles, is automatically broken up into smaller chunks before being recorded to the backup storage target and each one of these chunks is encrypted separately. This creates a digital jigsaw that prevents attackers from being able to decipher and piece back together with your data even if they should gain unauthorized access to it.
